In cast design with hydraulic weight compensation, guided on the machine column with hardened compact roller guides

MACHINE FRAME
Intrinsically rigid design in Hydropol® composite construction as the basis for dynamic and vibration-damped movement of the machine frame in the X-axis. Complex foundations are not required Compact roller guides ensure maximum precision.

2-CHANNEL COLLISION MONTORING SYSTEM
There are 2 types of monitoring: 1. Collision (channel 1)
2. tool monitoring (channel 2)
A piezoelectronic stain transducer serves as the measuring sensor.
This measures the forces during machining. The sensor signal is analysed by the monitoring device.

Specification of the collision process limit (channel 1):
The process limit for the 1st channel (collision) can be adapted to the machining process by the machine operator on the monitoring system using the arrow buttons (the maximum value is 999). If lower forces occur during machining, the process limit can be reduced so that the machine switched off earlier in the event of a collision, thus minimizing the damage. If force signal exceeds the process limit, the machine is switched off and axes are braked with maximum torque.

Specification of the tool monitoring process limit for the 2nd channel (tool monitoring) is read from the tool data of the active tool and automatically transferred to the monitoring system. If the force signal exceeds the process limit for the tool, an NC stop is output
