AMB 2018 sets new standards AMB – International Exhibition for Metalworking – in the heart of Europe’s leading high-tech region Stuttgart, is one of the most important international trade fairs in the industry.
With 1,553 exhibitors on 120,000 gross square meters of exhibition space, AMB 2018 is considered the most successful and largest AMB of all time.
Over 91,000 visitors were interested in the latest developments in machine tools, precision tools and other metal-cutting topics. UniSpeed series With the UniSpeed 2000, SHW presented a compact machining center from the new UniSpeed series to the numerous visitors on site.
One of its special features is the innovative pallet changer system, developed and produced in-house, with a transport load of up to six tons.
In addition, the machining centers of the UniSpeed series with their control station, chip concept, tool management and many other features create the ideal conditions for the large parts machining of the future. Successful new start for SHW SHW and its new investor can draw an all-round positive conclusion from AMB 2018.
In addition to numerous good discussions with customers, a large number of new contacts were made.
The exclusively positive feedback regarding the realignment of SHW makes everyone involved optimistic about the future.
