The machine tool manufacturer presented a new system – and entered into a cooperation agreement with Kematech.
Aalen/Hanover. SHW Werkzeugmaschinen (WM) was an exhibitor at this year’s EMO in Hanover, the world’s leading trade fair for production technology. There, the company presented the new UniSpeed 2500 machine, which, according to the company, is set to “redefine” the potential in metalworking. The machine is equipped with a tool changer that raises efficiency and precision in metalworking to a new level. It enables faster tool changes, which increases productivity and minimizes machining times.
“EMO was an opportunity for us to present our latest developments and innovations,” said Martin Greis, Managing Director of SHW WM. “The UniSpeed 2500 is the result of intensive research and development work, taking customer requirements into account.”
The Aalen-based company also used the trade fair to finalize a cooperation with Kematech. “The aim of the cooperation is to provide even better service coverage for our customers. Shorter response times and faster on-site service minimize unplanned downtimes and enable our customers to continue their production quickly and efficiently,” said Ralf Grimm, Head of Service at SHW WM.
